Futureproof - Trailer

Why We Started the Futureproof Botcast

If you’ve ever survived a corporate meeting where someone read every bullet point on a slide – slowly, with feeling – you’ll understand why we started the “Futureproof Botcast“.

As we already wrote in our book “The Antifragile Organization: From Hierarchies to Ecosystems“ we saw too many good ideas withering under the fluorescent lights of conference rooms, stuck in endless cycles of “alignment” and “best practice” decks. We dreamed of organizations that don’t just endure uncertainty, but grow because of it. We wanted to show how the shift from rigid hierarchies to living, adaptive ecosystems isn’t just theory – it’s the difference between winning and losing the future.

But let’s be honest: explaining antifragile organizational concepts in a 260 page business book, accompanied by a 42-slide presentation reaches a very limited number of people, and most of them are not unfamiliar with advanced org concepts.

So, we hatched a plan. What if we broke out of the PowerPoint loop and created a “botcast” – with AI hosts who have never sat through a status update and aren’t afraid to laugh at management clichés? What if we could bring the book’s ideas to life, not with more buzzwords, but with stories, comedy, and the kind of clarity that makes people nudge each other and say, “This actually makes sense”?

Of course, there’s another reason we made it an AI-narrated botcast: Our spoken English is… well, let’s just say even we wouldn’t want to listen to ourselves for ten episodes! Besides, we were feeling experimental. Oh, and who believes Germans can be funny on air? Better to outsource the comic timing to bots who don’t have an accent, stage fright, or an urgent need for coffee breaks.

But here’s the serious bit: the world is caught in dangerous, winner-takes-all races – be it in tech, climate, or geopolitics. We believe antifragile organizations can be the real game changers, building systems that don’t just survive shocks, but get stronger together. It’s not just about business – it’s about making sure the future is less brittle, more creative, and a lot more human (even if the hosts are robots).

So, to everyone stuck in another PowerPoint meeting: we made this podcast for you. Escape the slides. Join the botcast. Help us change the game.

  • Rethinking Value Creation in a World That Refuses to Stand Still

At the 8th Global Conference on Creating Value, I spoke about the growing gap between today’s fast-moving business arenas and the operating systems many organizations still rely on. In this article I reflect on why traditional management logic is reaching its limits and what continuous, adaptive value creation looks like in a world that refuses to stand still.

  • Designing Adaptive Organizations – Insights from the Global Peter Drucker Forum

At the Global Drucker Forum I chaired a Deep Dive Dialogue on new leadership for the perpetually adaptive enterprise. In this article I reflect on why control based management is reaching its limits, how antifragile organizations rethink structure and governance, and why lasting adaptability depends on redesigning the operating system of the firm, not only on individual leadership skills.

  • Episode 10 – Should I Stay or Should AI Go?

When change arrives quietly through tension instead of ceremony, transformation begins to take root. In this season finale, Spark and Primus are joined by Emergentia and Changelo to map how organizations evolve into ecosystems through learning, feedback, and transparent alignment of the forces that shape organizational change.

  • Episode 9 – Ecosystems Got Talent

In Episode 9, Primus and Spark welcome Vee and EcoSym to explore how antifragile organizations outgrow their boundaries and start co-creating value across networks.
Discover how internal service catalogues evolved into open marketplaces, how trust replaced hierarchy as the new operating system, and how governance by consent keeps ecosystems fair, adaptive, and alive.
